Forgive this being in a wrong section, but here's a rather daft question

I have G+, I'm not too bad with rankings for my particular line of work, I have the social media stuff of my site which is also for every product and page as well - basically you can't miss it

So, I click my Google+ icon today and since this Monday, I've had all of 71 extra views

I have a customer who is nowhere to be seen on the internet and he's had a whopping extra 371 views - how does that work? and he has a bog standard website, no ecommerce at all, bog standard html website

What am I missing if anyone knows?

Not that I know anything about G+ but isn't it all to do with how many people are in your network and how many of them share it with their networks?

Is what I assumed Mike, but he has knaff all in his network like me - this might account for a few things I grant you, but even so, it seems a bit one sided

I clearly know nothing about G+ either and a reason why I'm puzzled

Now, I'm pretty sure that I'll get some replies saying "Learn G+" - but, we're all told to have this, have that, and every other social media rubbish under the sun on your website

But unless we're all rich, have the time and money to check updates etc, then in my opinion, most of us have no idea about it all

I'm just not understanding what might be the 'bleeding obvious'

Agreed. I was hoping someone else would join in and explain it all but the silence maybe says much about how little Google+ is actually used in the real world.
