    Email

Initailly email sent as HTML just fine, although it always looked like gobbledegook in the order tab when I open email to send. Now HTML email just wont show correctly, instead they send with coding visible in the email. Digital download links are no longer in the email.

I have not changed anything other than removing the returns policy as I don't want that in email and changed some wording (for example "Kind Regards" instead of "Sincerely")

I changed it to text only and email send OK but had lines meant for hyperlinks at the top (shop etc).

The only other thing I have changed is adding Norman's sendmail code as the email were taking forever to send.

Please see attached screenshots. One is from the portal when sending an email from there, the other one is the email as receievd by customer. I have changed all to all text (both inner and outer) then back to HTML (both inner and outer) about 10 times now. No change. Looks fine in preview.

    Can anyone help please?

It was Norman's sendmail code that did it. Just took that out and it works fine now. I hope he will modify it to work with Sellerdeck 14.03 because I now have to contend with slow email sending.

Is it worth moving from 1&1 as you seem to have other issues with the hosting in other posts.

We are with Host-it which is very good if you are considering a move.

It's actually very good hosting. Reliable and affordable . Just incompetent staff and slow sending email.
            Kind Regards

I've found sending emails via sendgrid to work very well with 1and1.

I've posted the details somewhere in the forum already. Their free account should be fine for most sellerdeck users.

                  Nope, not fixed

I take it back, it's not working fine. Digital download email has the outer layout inside another outer layout with no inner layout. All email are just filled with coding. I think I have it beat then it starts again. Interestingly I was getting the internal 500 error and when I looked I somehow had gained a brand new nah-download file alongside the one I renamed to download just last week.

I installed v14.03 on another computer and imported the email layouts. No difference. Are all you using v14.03 sending email correctly formatted? How do they look in the software itself before you send them?
                  Kind Regards
