    Complex Filtering Problem

We have got filtering working on our site quite well and generally have had few problems with it - until now!

The problem is how to filter Multi-Products which may also be, for instance, a hedgetrimmer, a brushcutter and a pole pruner. I have figured out how to cater for 2 product types by assigning the Multi-Product a separate Product Sub Type and then assigning the Product Type to Hedgetrimmer.

When the product is entered into SellerDeck it is entered into the Section for Hedgetrimmers and filtered to select Product Type = Hedgetrimmer and Product SubType = Multi-Product. That works fine and it appears in both sections.

However, you cannot enter a product twice in SellerDeck so you have no way of getting it to appear under Brushcutters and Pole Pruners. You can trick SellerDeck, into thinking they are different products by tweeking the Product Reference e.g. PRODREF = prod_1234-1, prod-1234-2 etc. However this is heavily frowned on by Google which may respond by deselecting the products altogether.

The issue is that in SellerDeck's filtering options, the filtering parameters are all AND'd together and there is no option to have any OR'd ones.

Has anyone else hit this problem and found a work around solution please?

You can filter a product with multiple values by using component choices or text values. See Filtering with multiple values.
