I wish to keep the creation of an account optional on my website, but also wish to give customers that create an account a discount of 5% on all future orders.
I know the default customer group is 'retail', but it is not possible to give a discount on this group.
I can create a new customer group based on retail with a multiplier of 0.95, but is there any way I can then make this group the default for all accounts created?
