PayPal Order Processing loses Discount Code/Value

In a similar way to processing an order using PayPal, loses the the Special Delivery Instructions, it also loses a Discount Code entered previously.

Is anyone else, using SD2014, experiencing this, and if so do they know what the solution is please?

Surely I cannot be the only one with these 2 problems!

Can anyone help please or offer any advice on what to do?

The PayPal Express option is a poor integration. Sellerdeck needs to work with PayPal to improve this.

eg: the address you receive from the customer does not always include the postcode.
eg. Often the PayPal user's login is an obsolete email address. It works fine as a login, but they never receive order confirmations.
eg. PayPal users fail to update their confirmed addresses, so they get orders sent to addresses they moved from years ago then moan at us when it doesn't arrive.
eg. PayPal users live in a world pre-1974 and love using counties which haven't existed since then, like Middlesex.

While it's a quick and easy solution for mobile users, until PayPal and Sellerdeck improve how the back end works for us, it is fraught with issues.

Thank you for your response. Are you saying in effect that PayPal Express is a poor integration with SellerDeck and perhaps, by implication, that the integration of PayPal Pro is better?

If that is the answer, we would switch to PayPal Pro.

No, don't use PayPal Pro. It's obsolete.
Use standard PayPal Website Payments - but of course you need to balance this against the ease of use of the Express option for mobile and tablet users.

Thank you again for your quick response. I think I shall have to put a ticket into SellerDeck Support and ask them to fix the issue. It beggars belief that they can release code for customer use that does not appear to work properly!

Thank you anyway for trying to help.
