Setting up SSL in sellerdeck 2016

So i bit the bullet and got an SSL and a dedicated IP to run my site on. Im having a few initial teething issues with teh network settings but hoping that sorts itself out in the migration which is 4 to 8 hours.

What I need to know is am I going to cause issues if I do the complete site to SSL- https with my google and other search engine searches, How can I let search engines know that what was once my http is now the same but https for all web pages?

I know its to do with the htaccess file on my server site but not sure what code to add there or if sellerdeck creates this file so it will need to be done through sellerdeck

    Thanks for any help guidance

    cheers

It is similar to the issues im having but one thing that is different is that in the SSL part of the setup the "Path from CGI-BIN to Online Store as Viewed by the FTP Server (leave blank unless advised) is grayed out and I cant enter the same value as in the standard setup which is /public_html/acatalog/ so wondering if I have an issue there with the sellerdeck 16.0.3 software...

Ok that was just because I didnt have the whole site clicked to SSL with wholesaitge the box is active so ignore that part. Still not uploading the cgi scripts since I went to ssl and dedicated IP

But I guess the code for the acaccess is as per the link above

Ok so the website is uploading now as the network settings are working again.

Does sellerdeck upload an acaccess file or is that a manual job?
