The site 'Site1' cannot be opened now...

Hi there,

I got this badly-written error message after Sellerdeck crashed:

The site 'Site1' cannot be opened now as its database is currenlty being upgraded or verified by other user. Please try again later.

Now I can't get into the program.

I think there used to be an .ini file that had a lock flag, but I don't know if that file still exists.

Can anyone help please?

In the sites folder there is a sites.ini

Have a look there

Have a look in file Sites.ini that is in the Sites folder (1 level up from Site1).

Look for SiteLocked=1 and change to 0.

P.S. I got that information by using the Search box at the top of this page and searching for the error message you posted. It was in the 3rd result down.

Hi there,

Doh! I was looking in the wrong place. Yes, I did the search - sorry if you think I've been wasting your time - but the result I found was for v11, and I couldn't find the sites.ini file that it referred to as - as you mention - it is in a higher level folder. All solved now.
