Need to re-install Sellerdeck 16

Some of the SD software is not working and keeps pausing for 20 seconds or so and so needs re-installing.

Been a while since I have done any of this but might seem a silly question.

If I take a snapshot then re-install SD then upload my snap shot will my site still be there with the custom made template?

Should be OK but make sure the version is the same and from memory there is a fair bit to uninstall such as the site folder but maybe double check with support
