Removing email templates

Hi, can anyone tell me how to remove non html inbuilt templates that are no longer needed in 2016 ?

Do you actually want to delete the templates or simply remove them from the lists.

If the latter open the top meny option Design and select the library option from the dropdown, when the Design Library window opens scroll to 'Email Inner Layout, now work your way through all the selectors in this section.

Open each selector, then open the values tab, move any html layouts for this type of email from left column to right and move all none html layouts (title says it all) to the left column.

e.g. AccountModifiedEmailInner
move 'Account modified HTML Email Inner' to right column and 'Account modified Text Only Email Inner' to left column.
Now select the 'Basic Definition Tab and make sure the HTML email shows in the InitialValue and Top level value.
Click OK

repeat this for every other selector in the Email Inner Layout list, selectors have the circular icon.

Now open the Email Outer Layout group and check all the selectors in this group are set to html, use the value tab to move the layouts as above.
