Performance issue... v16.0.0 vs v16.0.1

We are using multi-user, and since updating to v16.0.1 I find quitting the program a lot slower...

During the wait it checks for unsent emails
- I don't know what other things it is doing

Is it possible to switch this "check unsent emails" off and have a quicker shutdown of the program?
