Linking to an external URL from the menu

I'm, building a new site for a customer and one of the top level menu items needs to link to an external URL/new tab window. If it was the last menu item, i'd just hack the template and hard code it in. But it's not.Is there a way to do this ?

I do believe that you create a new brochure segment, then create a fragment. Its titled what you want the link to be titled.

Then in the fragment, go to Links, which is just below General and insert the link there under the URL section?

That seems to have worked for me?
