    Importing old order information

We are finally getting around to launching our new website with the 2016 version, which has become an urgent update after our 2013 version, which is currently running our live site, has corrupted. Sellerdeck support cannot find how to fix our old software and the corrupted site will not let us update anything including prices and is corrupting invoices into Sage.

We are launching the new site on 2016 in the next week, but we wondered how easy it would be, to import old invoice data into the system, for record purposes. We are only thinking those invoices since April 5th.

Is there an easy way, we can import this data at all?

Under file there is import orders and customers you could try that after you make a safety snapshot

Assume you have tried to repair the MDB file to see if it solves the problem you just need access

When we move over to a new version or a spring clean, we imported the historic orders into another version of the site. So it cleans out the old orders, just taking across the current ones or this seasons making that database smaller. Then you have all the old orders if you every need to consult them for a customer just log into that site. It is quite a useful way of doing it.

We suffered a corrupted site a few years back which was horrible, I do feel for you. When it happened I brought down new orders in a clean site and ran the old site (not uploading) just using the back office stuff to process the orders, once done just archived it.

We installed Mole End Software Backup to reduce problems of corruptions very useful.

      Good luck.
