Discount Applied at the Product Page

Hi,

Been looking through the old threads and seen that people have mentioned "how do you display a product price but with the discount already applied."

Wondered if anyone knew how to do this in Sellerdeck 2016???

The discount doesn't seem to be applied until the checkout page. Feel that my customers need to see the discount applied at the product page therefore enticing them to purchase...

So you want to show the discounted price on the product page where the discount is based on the total cart value.

Presumably you only want to show the discounted price when the cart has reached that value or do you want it showing all the time?

I'd imagine you could copy and edit the cart summary javascript to show the discounted price when the trigger value had been reached, or you could just add a message saying 'buy this for just <discounted price> when your total order is £50 or more'

Yes I want to show the price as was £200 now £150 - the discount automatically being applied on the products page. My product prices are quit high and with the discount there is quite a lot of savings. It also means I don't have to change my base price - I can change the discount value per month.

You can go to the prices page on the product and set say prices for 1 at £10, 5 at £9.00 and 20 at £9.00 and all three prices show on the page and the relevant price is automatically calculated

Sorry, don't understand what you mean.

I've looked at the prices section of a product and don't get those options your referring to.

Are all your products in the same discount group?

If so, all you'd need to do is use some sellerdeck php to say:

Was £200
Now £150 when you order £50 of goods

and the discount price could be calculated automatically as long as Sellerdeck lets you access the discount variable.

PS. Chris is referring to quantity based discounts rather than the cart value discount you're using here.
