    AVG and 2016

Each time I start 2016 a "virus" apparently idpalexa51 from sellerdeck2016 is put in the vault, I am pretty sure it is not a virus but each day I restore the file.

Anyone else get this with 2016?

I started getting this on Thursday last week, must have been an AVG update. I had to exclude the Sellerdeck folder from AVG.

There's quite a lot of discussion online about idp.alexa.51 and its reporting by AVG. I couldn't find anything conclusive. This seems to be the clearest summary, but I've no idea how authoritative it is: http://sensorstechforum.com/what-is-...you-remove-it/

Basically idp.alexa.51 seems to be a detection program associated with certain games, which has the ability to engage in malicious behaviour should it wish to do so. Consequently it's a potential threat, but maybe not an actual threat. I can only suggest you Google it, read the information and then decide what, if anything, you want to do about it.

I had a customer whose site vanished from his Pc and yes AVG had removed it.
