Customer Login Error

Hello,

When our customer tries to login to place an order, he is getting the following error:

No such user (or invalid password...)

We checked and confirmed that he is using the correct email/username and password, changed it and tried it again. Nothing seems to work, and we keep getting the same error.

What might be causing this ? We'd appreciate any help/advice regarding this issue. Thank you very much!

The login is case sensitive, could it be that?

Has there been an upload or customer account sync since the account was created? If not, the account details won't have been uploaded to the website yet.

Agreed we find users having this problem usually on mobile devices especially apple devices as it auto capitalises the first letter on the username. has caused a number of customers no end of frustration.

We have put a line in the resend password email in caps so that they are fully aware of this fact.
