Reference report?

Hi all,

Hope someone can point this out.

The product reference is auto generated on our website and we have lots of products. With customers quoting the reference number to order.

So what I'm after is a report I can print off which will show the products and there associated reference number?

If you export the product catalog and filter the first column by 'Product' you will then have all the fields available to use in Excel. The first column will be the product reference, the second the short description.

In business settings , options , Product ref
You can change to your own product ref where for instance you can use your suppliers code and if that's confusing with say two suppliers having the same code you can use prefixes to make a different

So product from supplier smiths code x231 could show as Sx231 and another supplier with the same code say john smith could be JSx231

You could also export the google shopping feed, this will give you a csv file with the information in it which might be easier to manage.
