SD16 (Enterprise) Hanging on Preloading Filtering Pages

Morning all - happy Christmas.

We've encountered a very unhelpful bug in 16.0.4 - The software is hanging on the "Preloading Filtering Pages" step of an upload - every thing else goes fine.

SD Support have so far been unable to reproduce this on their machines connected with our site & server (hosted by SD)

This has started in the last couple of weeks - Wondering if anybody else has encountered this as of yet?

Might it be connected to the recent Windows Creator update? When our main PC updated last week, SD 2016 (not enterprise) was completely wrecked. We used the repair feature of the install software and fortunately whatever had been undone by Mocrosft was rectified.

This was our first train of thought - our primary development machine was hit with this wonderful Windows update as well. We've repaired / reinstalled to no avail.

So am I reading this right, that sellerdeck can upload your site from one of their PCs to your server and it works for them?

It’s very strange isn’t it. The only things I can think of are

- try a different PC as Jules suggests
- check your anti virus isn’t blocking for some reason
- compact and repair the database
- try changing the script number to force a fresh update
- try the same thing they’ve done. Ie import the snapshot you sent them into a new site and try to upload from that.
