    One product in a section - go staright to product page

    Site has the usual structure of sections, product summaries and single product pages.
    Some sections only have one product.
    Is there a way to take the customer straight to the product page if there is only one product summary but if the client adds more products for it to function as normal?

    Thank you

    In layout Responsive Product List around line 14 is:
    Code:
            <actinic:variable name="ProductLayoutRWD" />
    Try changing it to:
    Code:
            <actinic:block if="%3cactinic%3avariable%20name%3d%22ListCount%22%20%2f%3e%20%21%3d%201"><actinic:variable name="ProductLayoutRWD" /></actinic:block><actinic:block if="%3cactinic%3avariable%20name%3d%22ListCount%22%20%2f%3e%20%3d%3d%201" ><actinic:variable name="ProductPageProductLayoutRWD" /></actinic:block>
    Note that there are another two instances of <actinic:variable name="ProductLayoutRWD" /> that may need similar tweaks.

        Note that this uses ListCount and that will be counting both Products and Fragments.

          Also had to do this in "Click Here to Edit List Layout Settings" - Start of List - as normal display for the site is three across:

          Code:
          <div class="product-list<actinic:block if="%3cactinic%3avariable%20name%3d%22ListCount%22%20%2f%3e%20%21%3d%201">
              <actinic:block if="%3cactinic%3avariable%20name%3d%22ProductColumnCount%22%20%2f%3e%20%3d%3d%202" > twoColumns</actinic:block><actinic:block if="%3cactinic%3avariable%20name%3d%22ProductColumnCount%22%20%2f%3e%20%3d%3d%203" > threeColumns</actinic:block>
          </actinic:block>">

            I tend to use a line in the htacess file to do this.

                Sorry yes I should have added before.

                We add to our htaccess file a line like this

                HTML Code:
                redirect 301 /acatalog/section.html https://www.domain.co.uk/acatalog/product.html
                There maybe a reason why people don't like this method but it seem to work well.

                  That is a good method, but if designing for a client it has to accommodate them adding pages and not being comfortable with htaccess. When I hand a site over I rather like it to all work out of the box.

                    Good to know but a fair comment.

                    I'm no developer but know enough to make these tweaks.
