No VAT

I am starting a small website which will not reach the VAT threshold (probably ever) and as such will not be registering it for VAT. Is there a way of removing all references to VAT within the catalogue so prices are simply prices ( and the excl VAT or Inc. VAT are not shown)?

In Settings > Business Settings select 'Simple' for the Tax Mode and untick 'Include Tax 1'. I think that should do it.
