What is the Product Short Description Maximum Length?

Getting lots of Data Truncated errors on SPP conversion and the Product Short Description Length of several products is over 200 characters and they have punctuation'-.&!

I am pretty sure this is the issue.

What is the maximum Product Short Description Length - this of course becomes the single product page name.

Looking at the Product table in Access, the data type is Short Text which is 255 characters. I don't know whether the SD application imposes a lower limit though.

Thank you John, after trial and error it seems to like less than 200.
