Weights for Permutations / Choices

I'm moving across to V18 from V9
I have a few products with with choices which each choice having a different weight (eg. Option A = 400g, Option B = 500g, Option C 550g, etc)

On V9 you had to create hidden products for each weight and assign that hidden product to each choice via the permutations table.
Is there anything simpler in V18 or still the same process

I'm pretty sure it's the same thing in V18. Hidden products are a tried and proven method that works well for stock control and I don't think much, if anything, has changed in this area.

Thanks Mike, thought that was the case but worth a check before ploughing on only to find a new method had been added

I think Sellerdeck might have added a 'Wizard' to help with the setting up of options / components but I have to admit I've never used it.
