Not a fix, but a good workaround which is stopping most of the spam.

With Captch turned off to avoid the 500 errors we have used Cloudflare to set up rules on the contact page that we are under attack. This seems to have stopped most of the automated spam.

how do we amend if upload changes it back to default?

The mf000001.pl is the minimised file that is generated from the MailForm.pl file. You need to make your edits in the mailForm file as the mf one is regenerated on every upload.

Your fix was almost correct. The line should read: -

if ($JsonResponse->{'success'} eq 'true')

Sellerdeck, is it possible to make this change in the next update so that we are not still having to do this after every update?
