    Assigning a Price to Promts

Is it possible to assign a price to the "Other Info Question" Prompt?

    Explanation

I have an engravable product that we will offer plain (£59.95) the option of inside engraving using Norman's add-on (£30.00) which currently works very well.

We will also offer a more specialised engraving on the front which will be designed on another website, and the reference to the design will be input into the prompt box for us to retrieve. What I would like to happen is that if they enter the code into the box, it also adds another £30.00 to the order which would make it seamless for the customer.

Picture so you have a better understanding.

I don't think you can do this as standard but it wouldn't be too complicated to use a bit of jquery triggered on the add to cart button to check for content in the prompt box and set the correct price option based on that.

I wish I could but I just don't have the time right now to help with the code.

      Many thanks Mike.

As it was only for 1 product I have decided on a workaround.
