Pre requisites

I am trying to install V18 on a windows 11 machine but the visual runtime pre requisites are not present.
I referred to Gary's post from 2023 but the download link fails.

Fatal error: Visual C++ 2005 SP1 x86 (MFC Security Update) mandatory prerequisite was not correctly installed.

Any help appreciated

I have V18 on a Windows 11 machine.

Not sure if anyone else suffers from this but after the machine performs a Windows Update I often have to run the AccessDatabaseEngine.exe installer again to reinstal MS Access. And, as I always compact databases on exit, I also have to rename tempActinicCatalog back to ActinicCatalog after rerunning the installer.

PITA!

I'm hoping that doesn't happen as I compact weekly and always do the second Tuesday of the Month windows update, but if so I'll reply on this post.
