    Filter issue using Brand option

Can anyone help with this guys, I can't seem to find the answer.

Tried my first attempt at Filtering, using the help file procedure, to automatically fill a section with products, therefore making it the default view. I only use the "brand" variable as an option.

The filter works great, until you select one of the brands, then every product disappears. Using V18.2.2 (non Swift)

Here is the link to the section. (Click on one of the brands shown and you will see what I mean). https://www.ashbybears.com/acatalog/...haracters.html

Tried every variation on settings, plus a full refresh on the site, but still the same.

The Google brand uses the variable as a "text" listing so, to leave it alone, I made a new variable called "ProductBrand" and set it as a list of choices for the brands, rather a text list, to see if it made any difference.

result is still the same. any idea's guys?

Have you gone into the next tab from the 'Filtering' settings called 'Results' to set what should be shown ?

Your page looks as if it's identifying the number of products in the brand filter, it's just not showing anything.

Although I do see results from a search so it might not be this.

I used brand in some of my filtering and it works fine for me. (on 18.0.6).

I've not used the "brand"... but looks like : "Google Data Feed Brand" = "brand (Text)"

I can't say for sure as that's not how I set mine up but maybe in the example you show above it's because you haven't set the property values for which products to show.
Click and select to filter on any valid Property or Attribute
Value Set the value for which you want matching products to be included, eg value 'Medium' for attribute 'Colour', or value 'Sellerdeck' for the property 'brand'.

other than that I've no idea. Sorry.

Hi guys, thanks for looking at this. To be honest, I appear to be doing exactly the same, so I just don't get it. Regular searching works fine, so the results must be set ok.

I keep thinking there is some missing script, that is required when you click on one of the brand names that is displayed, but I am not sure what to be looking for on this.

My other site is on a different pc, so I will try setting up something similar filter on that one and see what the result is.

Naw... my pictures show it's working (you can see I chose Brand C and the two items showing... was trying to figure out what the default "brand (Text)" was linked to.

My guess is to check the design layout code... the Design>Library : enable show an asterisk on blocks of code that was changed from default
(right click copy the code to keep a backup, and do a revert to default to test on anything that's changed)
