Creating a choice within a choice!

Hi,

Does anybody know how we can create a choice within a choice in actinic business.

E.G - we supply products for cars and want to be able to allow customers to choose first their make of car and then their model. E.G Ford then Focus or fiesta etc.

We are struggling to get actinic to show only the model choice that relates to a certain make of car and think a choice within a choice may be a way of doing it but dont know how to do this.

any suggestions would be gratefully received.

Not out of the box functionality - you will need to look at some form of javascript to display specific models depending on the make selected.

Actinic, as Jont says, doesn't do choices within choices.

Another way to do this would be to structure these as a list of Sections and Sub-Sections. One Section for each Make, inside each make, the Model, inside each model, the Year, etc.. Customer would essentially drill down to the product they require. Disadvantage would be that it's lot of work for each item you sell.
