    Adding additional navigation

Hi Guys, I have tried to edit my website in dreamweaver mx, CS3 & CS4 but still cannot get it working.

The site I am currently building for a friend is here: http://www.h1ime.co.uk/acatalog/index.html

Is there any way I can get it to look like this:

I have basically moved the Login/Contact option down and then added 6 jpeg navigation blocks which can also (hopefully) have the behavior to swap image.

Thanks in advance and appologies for asking but I have only ever used Actinic for about 2 days so far.

The path you want to take my young Padawan is to learn Actinic without Dreamweaver. Then once mastered, use Dreamweaver to enhance the system

      Thanks Obi Wan,

Is adding graphical navigation possible within Actinic?

Graphical navigation is indeed possible within Actinic - most things are possible within Actinic once you get your head around it. I would recommend playing around with the themes in Actinic to see if there is one similar to what you are trying to achieve then customising it to get it exactly how you want. Once you've got you first few changes under your belt you will soon discover the way you want to do things.

Simply add the HTML for the banner and buttons into the outer layout.

Layouts are just grouped blocks of HTML code ... a little like in DW when you click on the + / - in the left hand code view to expand and contract blocks of code. Blocks of HTML code are show in pink in the Actinic design view widow. Keep any design images in the root of the Actinic site1 folder and best to wrap images declared in your CSS with single quotes eg url('image.gif') to ensure they are uploaded.
