Feefo Problem

Hi Everyone,

Not sure if this is the correct place for this post?

I have signed up for Feefo and was e-mailed by Actinic details of my Feefo logon and password.

I entered these into the required place in Actinic and get an error stating the password/FTP logon is incorrect :-

An FTP error occurred: -
Request: ->Opening connection to feefo.com on port 21
Error: The password was not allowed

Anyone had this problem and managed to get it going?

I was sent this info shortly before 5.30pm today by e-mail from Actinic, so it looks as if I cannot resolve it until Monday?

Sounds like your login details are wrong. I presume you've already double checked what you've entered. Make sure there's no white space at the end of the name and password.

There is a test button on the feefo dialog to check that you user name and pass word are correct.

You have to use the username that you log into feefo with (so my website name in my case) and the password you have defined for your FTP details.

The online help has a pretty good summary of exactly how to set it up.

Thanks to Duncan and Jan for the suggestions, it turns out that the password field had been missed out when my account had been set up. Now works a treat.
