    Duplicate files on upload

I have imported a site snapshot from Version 8 to Version 10 and have tried to upload it to a test server but there are conflicts with file names and the site stops uploading. The files that are conflicting are in my Version 8 folder. Should this be happening? I thought it would be treated as a seperate site. I can't change my file names in my Version 8 folder as it's a live site at the moment until my snapshot in Version 10 is tested.

They operate independently, one can't affect the other, have a look in design > additional files see if that shows up anything or better still what errors are reported? do they make sense? have you got images setup outside of the site folder as not advised to possibly? do you know what time my wife will be home? etc.

It sounds like you are specifying full file paths somewhere causing the V10 to look in the V8 folders.

Lee, I'm sending your wife home now. I've got duplicate files to sort out

Thanks for the pointers I'll get to work.

Just deleted the contentents of the additional files and added the few from the new V10 directory that I needed for a custom plug in.
There are no errors but the duplicate files persist.
The latest was a conflict between the v8 actiniccore.js and v10 actiniccore.js file.

Did you manage to sort this out?

I have just installed the V10.0.3 beta and getting the error with the actinic core js file. It states a duplicate with \actiniccore.js and \\actiniccore.js the snapshot was an import from V10.0.1

i have registered this as a bug but wondered if anyone had any suggestions

            Cheers
            Darren
