Recently viewed limit does not work

Hi,
I have set the limit to 7 items in the marketing tab but the recently viewed limit has its own mind made up on the live site and is 12 items - any ideas as 7 looks great after that they bunch up horrible!

Edit: If you use simple list it defaults to 12 items - the variable for recent items configuration has this limit where you can change it - nicer if it worked from the marketing box!

Your site seems to be working fine with only 7 recent items displaying, no matter how many products are viewed.

You may be seeing some localised problems due to the cookies on your system being set when the list was longer. Should be OK after 12 hour when the cookie expires.

If not cookie related, it may be something in your browser's cache. Try a different PC or a browser you've not used recently.

Thanks Norman - it was in the configuration variable - 12 is the default limit, the marketing tab limit is ignored in simple settings, in tabular the marketing limit works.
