orders from outside UK

Hi,

i've just got an e-mail from a customer in switzerland unable to place an order with this V10 site, i also had a similar complaint from a customer in Belgium last week.
has anybody had anything similar?

I live in Switzerland and am trying to place an order for the following stock - but I keep getting an error message related to country name (which does not appear in your list).

Make sure that Switzerland is included in one of the shipping zones and that it also has a tax rule set on the tax tab (tax zones), both must be in place for a country to be working correctly. Actinic then knows what tax to apply and what shipping services to offer.

If the country does not exist on your site for some reason (you've probably deleted it), then set it up in settings > locations and then go through the above steps to put it into correct tax and shipping zones.

I'm almost certain Switzerland is catered for correctly as standard, so you might find that you've rejigged your zones or alike and left a country or two out. Probably well worth going through them all tbh and double checking.

If you worry about the ones you've missed, you'll get miserable, instead rejoice the ones you're about to get .

I have the country drop down showing for my invoice address but not for my delivery address and I'm finding that logged in customers are having problems shopping. Do you know how I can get the country drop down to show in check out for delivery address as well?

The country issue is a bug in V10 checkout by the way - if you don't have the country drop down then you get the error the OP mentioned.
