    Removing Paypal Payment Option!?

Hi everyone just aquick question regarding Paypal payments.

We had a range of products on our Actninc v10 site in which Paypal were not happy about taking payments for, as it broke their t & c's (something to do with the product being able to cause harm to the consumer). After finding several other sites which sold the same products with Paypal payments we left them on our site. Within a week Paypal had frozen our account until we removed this range of products.

To try and get round this we added a popup disclaimer asking to customer to only pruchase this item via credit card payment only, this worked to some extent, but Paypal were still not happy and kept our account frozen. I couldn't find anything in the forum on this subject, but i'm sure i may have been asked in the past

Is it possible to remove the Paypal option from a range of products or my them exempt from the Paypal option. We have since hiden them on our site and got Paypal reinstated, but we would like to get them back online if possible.

Any help much appreicated Cheers FrAz

I'm not sure that you can limit a payment method by product group, I suspect it can only be by location.

      Hi thanks for the reply,

I see that the only option in Buisiness settings is to limit to defined customers, is this to enable the 'limit by location' option. And how would i get this to work and make the customer fully aware of what they are doing by selecting a different location!?

I don't expect Paypal will accept any option wilst the products are available on your site. They demonstrated that with their response to your pop up window.

Not sure your Card Payments option is PCI compliant either ?

          No PSP?
