Refine by (can Actinic do this or could someone make it...)?

There is a rather funky thing at http://www.asos.com/Men/Sale/Shop-By....aspx?cid=5278

It allows you to "refine by" using the left menu. Its basically a filtering tool.

Before I leap in with both feet, has anyone done anything similar. If not I would be interested in any programmers that fancy supplying a quote for this.

That's an example of a database driven web site, which Actinic unfortunately isn't. Very difficult to do with Actinic.

The closest I've got is www.bikinishack.co.uk/x274.html where there's only a single filter in use.

I have a client who has a similar tool but it is very manual, she has to get all her products into a csv to feed to a db which is online.

I have just implemented a 2 tier filter on http://www.wineschoppen.co.uk/

The coloured portfolio links top left side of the navigation filter by product type (boxes, bags, wood etc).... once on the product page there is a filter across the top to filter by number of bottles... clicking the filter displays only the matching results.
