Hi,
v10 win7pro
I am trying to get my head around hierarchical files and importing them.
Following the advice in the help files I have added a simple product to the store and then exported the products from actinic File : Export
The catalog is exported as an hierarchical file. It shows up as a microsoft office excel comma seperated values file. Double clicking this file opens it in excel and I can see the file with my sample product listed.
TO check this is ok, I then go to actinic and delete the products from actinic, and then import this file. File:Import: import hierarchical file all goes well and the products are added to the store.
However, if I make any changes to this file, and I mean 'any' changes... not like adding lines but editing say a description, save it as the same format and then try and import it again, it fails.
The error is ; no fields were found in the first line of the file. Please enter a file with valid fields.
Can anyone see where I'm going wrong?
