Customer Reset Password

At the moment i have a login on my site

two problems i have with it though...

1. Is there any way of allowing a user to choose there own password instead of entering it in actinic and if so is there any way that this not be stored on computers?
   
2. At the moment once a user has logged in it only displays there first and last name. Is there any way of displaying their Title / Salutation?
