Snapshot Bug returns

The snapshot bug from V9 seems to also be in V10.

Just going through my snapshots I see many that are too small in size to be a complete snapshot.

I haven't seen this happen in v10. Are the small sized ones missing images?

You can open Snapshots with WinRAR (I use the current 64 bit v3.93 version) and see what's inside them.

I used to use elderly WinZip 7 for this purpose but had to ditch it when I went to Windows 7. WinRAR has been an excellent replacement.

I think 7-zip also does the job (opensource)

I didn't know how to look in them but reading the other posts above I will have a look.

The snapshots when successful are 58mb but the failed ones are always about 2 or 3mb.

Looking inside ACD files.

I had hopes for the built in zip function in windows XP/Vista bu no luck.
However I can confirm that 7-zip does indeed do the job nicely.

We get lot of failed snapshots since upgrading to v10 also. I find that a compact and repair database then run the snapshot before doing anything else works most of the time.
