Linking to Duplicates

Is there any way to link directly to a duplicate product which is identical to the original but obviously in a different section. At the moment this is only possible with the original. I know it's possible if the duplicate is given a unique reference but this then takes out the "Reset Duplicates" option and confuses the stock count.

I'm not one of these clever types but I think you can tick Advance Link and then link to the actual URL of the page where your duplicate is that you want to link to (am assuming you want the link to appear in anther product's description), rather than to the product, which goes to the original?

so they all have different URLs so this should work (I think!)
