Hi all
I am looking to get as much feedback on this problem as I can, so are all you Actinic store owners willing to help?
Our problem goes back to the days of version 9.02 when we started seeing errors reported in the Perl error log.
{Sample}
*** 'D:\wwwroot\cheapelectricals.co.uk\httpdocs\cgi-bin\ss000900.pl' error message at: 2010/08/30 17:17:48
'D:\wwwroot\cheapelectricals.co.uk\httpdocs\cgi-bin\ss000900.pl' script produced no output
*** 'D:\wwwroot\cheapelectricals.co.uk\httpdocs\cgi-bin\os000900.pl' error message at: 2010/08/30 18:51:24
'D:\wwwroot\cheapelectricals.co.uk\httpdocs\cgi-bin\os000900.pl' script produced no output
*** 'D:\wwwroot\cheapelectricals.co.uk\httpdocs\cgi-bin\os000900.pl' error message at: 2010/08/30 18:55:37
'D:\wwwroot\cheapelectricals.co.uk\httpdocs\cgi-bin\os000900.pl' script produced no output
We found out that these errors were causing lost sales as they were happening either when using the search bar or during checkout. All the user see's is a copy of one of the above error warnings in their browser. We also found out that it only happens with the newer browsers IE7+, Chrome, Firefox 3+, Safari etc.
Actinic after almost a year of reporting the problem have now decided they can replicate the problem and are looking for a fix.
My request to you all is if you have access to your Perl error log can you check for the above errors and let me know if you are getting them with as much information as possible what version of actinic, IIS or Liniux server and Perl version.
Thank you in advance
