    Setting up email with V10 and BT Connect

    I'm going round in a circle with this. I cannot get the contact form to return an email. I cannot get Actinic to send any confirmation emails. The problem is it simply won't accept our email address, user name or password.

    I've read a few threads about the settings for BT and none work. I contacted BT and they assure me email relay is on. I've contacted Actinic and they said "BT's problem". Well, it isn't! It's my problem and I need a solution.

    What's the current frig to get this software and BT working together?

    Are you using an on domain email address, the same one defined in business settings and network settings? If not, do so.

      Have you tried simply entering "localhost" with no username or password - this always works for us.

        Do the rest of the network tests pass without error?

          Same sort of reply as Duncan really. If you want us to help we'll need to see the network settings you're using and the response you get when you run a network test.
