Hi, I've searched for a while now for a post with the same problem but had no luck finding anything relevant.
My question in brief is: Why won't stock monitoring stay turned off on a few selected products?
I have built my website (www.annestokesshop.com) and it has been live for a few weeks now and it is working well. I have found a problem though with my T-Shirts on the site though. I have set the T-Shirts up with a Component and permutations for the sizes so that I can monitor the stock. I have a Master Product (eg Tshirt 1) setup with the component added to it and all of the sizes (hidden products linked to that eg Tshirt 1-S). My master product is not a real product so it has 0 stock. If the master product has 0 stock and stock monitoring is on you can't order any of the sizes because it thinks it is out of stock. To fix this I simply turn off stock monitoring on the Master Products and refreshed the website. This works fine until I do a new import from Sage (with Sage line 50 to Actinic Link), when I do it turns on the Stock monitoring again and I have to go through all of the master products turning Stock Monitoring off.
Why won't stock monitoring stay turned off on a few selected products?
A solution I thought about was removing the master product from sage so it doesn't update but the problem with that is the prices won't update when they are changed in sage. That is not going to work for us.
I have noticed in Sage Line 50 to Actinic link that in the "Products/Sections" tab I have "Transfer Stock Enabling" ticked. If I un-tick this and run an import stock monitoring stays turned off on the master products. But by doing this won't my stock monitoring be disabled?
I'm sure it must be something easy, please help.
