    Multi Column menu system

    Hi,

I am attempting to incorporate the menu system displayed in this link into my clients website. Has anyone tried anything similar in Actinic v10? I am struggling to find guidance on this although I have seen Actinic sites with similar style menu systems/search options.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Ollie

There are many ways to do this, from simple hard-coded menu navigation systems to fully automated and integrated menu systems.
We have developed a variety of drop-down menus that we have used in Actinic websites.
The most automated version uses a great deal of PHP within Actinic, however it gives the greatest control over the number of columns per menu drop-down as well as control over the max number of items in any vertical list as well.

It really depends on each individual requirement however you could explore how to loop through arrays in PHP within Actinic and use the section list and sub section list as the starting point for any development along this line.
