Stopping Cart Window Returning to Purchasing

Hi All

My website www.fantasyprints.co.uk is using still a lot of default settings and one is when you add an item to a cart it shows the cart for a few secs and then returns the user to the product page. How do I change this to the cart stays open and the user has to hit the "Continue shopping"
