White screen navigating page to page

Does anyone else have the issue with sites with a dark background where the screen goes white briefly (or not so briefly) as one navigates from page to page? Any solutions?
(I am not keen to post url I am afraid.)

Difficult without the URL but it could be that you have the Body background set at White with an inner div container background set at the Black or similar.

I don't see the effect on that demo site. Tried Firefox 3.6.8 and IE 8.0.7600.

That's curious! I was on the laptop last night but it is displaying OK this morning on my main machines.
