width of the products menu

I'm using Actinic Business Plus 10.0.2 on Windows 7 (SMART template)
A couple of questions:
1)
Can I alter the width of the products menu (on the left)
Some of my section names are wrapping onto the next line......looks untidy

2)
How do I display Best Selling Items in the brochure page with just the thumbnail image, price & short description (it keeps showing long decription as well)
