    Invalid FTP server name.

    Hi all

    Everytime I try and publish my website I get the message 'Invalid FTP server name.' followed by:


    Unable to contact the specified FTP proxy server. Check the proxy server and FTP port. Contact your system administrator or ISP for information on your proxy server.

    The parameter is incorrect.


    Connection problem could occur if the server does not fully support compressed upload.
    Try disabling it by going to 'Network Setup' within the 'Web' menu, select the 'FTP options' button, uncheck 'Enable Upload Data Compression' and try the upload again.

    Then Actinic stops responding and crashes. I don't have Enable Upload Data Compression turned on. I'm using Actinic trial hosting at the moment and this was working fine yesterday . . .

    Has your 30 day hosting trial expired?

    Try a network test and post the errors?

      Nope trial has not expired, the Test button is greyed out so not sure how I can go about testing now . . .
