    Why No Bullets?

Finally got around to upgrading some of my clients to v10.
    Fairly painless.
But why oh why have simple requests been ignored again?
I personally have been requesting for Bullets to be facilitated in the Text input area since version 7.
    Still not there!
    Why? Is it too difficult?

I'd have to agree on that point, bit of a shocker to still not be added.

It's not a particularly difficult development.

We do have a bit of a culture of doing the really difficult things first e.g. VAT inclusive pricing which took two of our best poeple around 6 months. For that reason there are a number of relatively simple things which haven't been done yet. I guess once we've knocked off the remaining major missing features (see the discussion on v10 noting the most common requests for clues to what's coming) we can deal with some of this smaller stuff fairly quickly.

..if you copy and paste another sites bullet points, that works just fine!
Thanks in advance for any remarks

I understand that point, but in fairness this has been on the wishlist as long as I can remember. Certainly since v8. There will always be important issues that demand priority attention, but ignoring the elementary issues just make the product feel shoddy and neglected.

When I worked in IT support, we had a system wereby a 'low' priority ticket escalated over time resulting in it eventually becoming a high priority.
          Nothing was neglected!

I give you a case in point were neglect can have more serious implications.
I have reported on at least two occasions that Actinic pages are declared as 'HTML 4.01 Transitional'.
However, closing tags throughout the code use '/>' instead of '>'.
Simple enough, but it stops the code validating.
It really only ought to be used with XHTML.
(In fact, there are many other issues were the Document Type conflicts with the code).
It's wrong. It doesn't break anything. But it's not right.

You mention that it took 2 top designers 6 months for one element of code.
Could I suggest that you utilise one average designer for a week to fix all the silly niggles that have accumulated over the years?

Oh, and while I am on about it. Biggest niggle of them all for me is the lack of a 'Refresh' or 'F5' for 'Page Review' in 'Designer'.

            Amen to that!
