Gogle webmaster tools show crawler failure Should I worry?

I signed up for Google webmaster tools and it shows crawler errors - 8 pages with links to the following page, which I think no longer exists, so causes an error.

Pages that link to http://www.thebabystudio.co.uk/acatalog/Stationery.html

Actinic said its a page left over from V9, but didn't really help explain how to fix it.

I started with a trail version of V9 which failed once and had to be fixed by actinic. Then as the trial ended V10 came out so I upgraded to that. That could be how this has happened.

It appears that this old file (or links to it) are left behind although the pages that the webmaster diags say link to it are recently added?

Is it a major issue if the Google crawler reports an error? I assume it drops out and doesn't fulfill job.

Anyone know how I can fix it (I'm a novice)

Page http://www.thebabystudio.co.uk/acatalog/Stationery.html does exist but you've not told us what those 8 pages that you say link to it are so no-one can take a look.

Your orphan page Stationery.html is not in your Site Map and Goggle shows no pages when I search for:

pop over to Xenu web sleuth website and download the programme, then run it on your website,
when we run it on our website (600+ pages) + images, it takes about 4 minutes to run and then identifies every broken link you have on your website - once you have a list, then its up to you to make the changes to "repair the broken links"

From what I can see, it is a section page from the default database that was supplied with version 9 of the software.
I have no idea why your sitemap generator has picked up this page, unless it is generating from a version 9 site.

From the answer Actinic gave I thought they were implying the Stationery file shoould not be there.

Ahah! I thought you had it back to front and this seems to confirm it.

It look like "Stationery.html" is an orphan file from your earlier testing. The links go from Stationery.html to your other pages.

Nothing on your live site links to Stationery.html.

Manually FTP to your server and delete Stationery.html from acatalog and that's it gone for good.
