Unable to export snapshot

Previous exports have worked fine. It appears to upload fine. Since last export I have changed the payment system to actinic payments, first through the test and now completely, there have been no other major changes although I have been adding images and moving a few products around.

Error message has saved a file and says I should tell actinic and I should save snapshot! - why do these things happen on a Saturday?
Any ideas welcome. Have just rebooted and tried again, and it just gotr stuck completely on the snapshot, not doing anything for approx 1 hour! Ho Hum

Presumably you've already tried compacting first.
What the error say - did it save a file - does it contain anything useful?

After trying various things I have got the snapshot to export. I think it was an EPOS link problem. The website is on my lap top and so links to the EPOS system on the till computer. The upgraded link on my laptop takes forever and a day to load everytime Actinic opens (approx 1 hour). I think I was trying to take the snapshot without the Epos link fully connected. Having left it to cook the Epos link and compacted the database again, it decided to export!

Further issues

OK spoke too soon. At least I did get the snapshot yesterday, but now I am unable to open Actinic V10 at all, it just spins for hours. I think it is poorly. Anyone know how to access it through another route other than programs or the desktop icon? No Epos link issue at present as am working from home, miles away from EPOS till.
