Website Refresh
At the risk of being lazy, does anyone understand what a Website Refresh does, ie, does it remove older product images that are no longer used? along with unused theme images etc.?, and any other previously used files that may not be needed?, ie, does it trash /acatalog and rebuild?

It does not remove anything, it forces all required files to be reuploaded. There is no automated way to 'clean up' the server. -
Dead easy to manually FTP in and delete it all yourself though, then do a refresh and only files being used will be there. Download orders first and make sure you do it at a quiet time.Comment

...and make sure you don't host anything else in the same server space that might get deleted at the same time...Comment
