    Section image problem

    Afternoon guys,
Just upgraded to v10. Everything was going great untill i tried to create new products, during the imports the failed report insists the section image name is incorrect. I've checked, checked and double checked! they're identical!

All images are identically names, with the exception of the tmb.jpg/sect.jpg extentions ect... Mapping is correct

    any sugestions?

    thanks in advance

More info needed, sitting in a folder within the site1 folder, what's the import line say, is it relative to the site1 folder, is it looking in the my documents folder? It will most likely be a location problem, failing that might actually be a corrupt image or images.

All of the images are in the same location, its not throwing up an error for the thumb, large or medium images. Just the section image.

the error reads as follows -

Line 2: Incompatible information in field 8 ("Image (sect)"). Expected the name of a valid .JPG or .GIF image file, up to 255 characters long, but got "Product_images/DAMS-International-Blue-Box-CALWS-WNT-sect.jpg".

and so on for the next 134 products.

ive assumed v10 is using the same location to look for the images as every other product image on my site is still present.

      thanks

Try shortening the length of the image filenames.
Or... is it because the you have a forward slash in the filename instead of a backslash?

i noticed the slash after i posted that. but no, it wasnt that. i found the answer, a ridiculously easy problem too! because id just upgraded i was still puting all the new images in the v9 product images file when they should have been going in the v10 file!

          thanks for your help
